This video is a little shakey, I should have stopped and shot. Truck with load going east loses control coming around bend and finally rolls on it's side meanwhile an empty log truck coming towards hill has to take action and hit the ditch.
Bill you have all the makings of a great News Photographer ! Do you want to trade places ? Come to Buffalo and you can have my job, and I'll come to live in Gowganda ! Lol...
Oh my! That accident was terrible. I’m just glad that no one got hurt from that, although the positions of those trucks seem to tell otherwise. Careful driving and checking our engines before travelling is a total must, indeed. I just hope that incident will serve as a warning to everyone. Thanks for sharing that video! Take care always!
It's completely understandable that you couldn't help but walk around while filming that video. After all, the incident must've been overwhelming for you, so calmly scouting the scene would be a bit difficult. At any rate, it's good to hear that no one was hurt despite how tragic the whole incident seems to be. I do hope you haven't bore witness to any tragic scenes again after that, Bill. Keep safe!
Yikes! That accident was upsetting to watch! Well, it's good that you didn't do anything that could've gotten you into trouble. And one lesson you can take from that situation is to adhere to the rules of driving safely, and to always perform maintenance on the engines. Also, it is highly important to avoid drinking alcohol before driving home. In any way, thanks for sharing that with us! Take care!
that is scary...always the scariest part of driving up to fish there are those trucks
ReplyDeleteHow are the drivers?
ReplyDeleteNo one was hurt in the accident, kinda forgot about that.
