Yesterday we went down the Beauty Lake Rd all the way to the Montreal river bridge

Drove right down to the Montreal River Bridge, the road had been ploughed recently except for the snow we got Thursday night and Friday AM.  Panorama of high spot south of Highway 560.

Tonights waning moon

Another pic with the Nikon P900 with it's large telescoping lens.  Don't remember seeing the large crater at the top of the moon before.

Montreal River south of the bridge

Out to take some pics today, the snow is hard enough to walk on without the snowshoes.  Walked from the highway up the east side of the river to the dam.  The melting is starting to happen, finally.

Snowshoeing to Diabase

Took a trip into Diabase lake yesterday, the snow held me up only on the snowmobile track, after that it was a good workout. Here's a couple of pics.

Here is a bunch of pics from today. The weather has turned drastically today rain soggy, lake covered in water. No more snowmobiling until the next cold snap. Snow has disappeared quickly but still lots to go.
