Spring has finally arrived

Out for a drive yesterday to take some pics, suprised to see so many blooms out. It's still staying fairly cool with night temps almost down to 0C. The next few days cool with rain.
Stopped off at Hedlund marsh for a few pics, the pin cherry are all blooming. The blueberries are well on their way. I hope there won't be a big frost as like there was a couple of years ago, that fall there was hardly a blueberry to be found. It made up for it last year with a bumper crop.

When I look at Hedlund Marsh as it is now, I can't believe that we use to be able to drive along the right side of it with a car.
( looking down the marsh in your picture)
I remember a type of floating bridge that scared the b-g-Bees out of me crossing it. That was in the early 60's

I have to tell everyone how good the fish was. It was perfectly smoked.

There still are remnants of the old bridge. Several old timbers are still visible just east of the road.

Spring is past here though I recently told my husband that if we really tried I bet we could travel around the world in just the right way to stay in Spring time all year. Your lovely photos are a little more proof that it might be possible.
And the fish looked so good-how could it have been less than perfect?

Couldn't tell you been to busy catching whitefish now. Lots of time for other fishing in the summer.

mowgli says that you are behind in your pics Bill. Love looking at them and do so every day. That is one of the stops on my computer...but it seems you are slacking a little bit. LOL.
