I enjoy looking at the photos [winter and summer] of the Gowganda area . Hedland's Marsh is a neat place. To the south of 560 is a huge rock that you can walk on for quite a ways. Looking north as in the photo just to the left use to be a trappers cabin. I did go inside of it years ago. You had to cross a small stream to get to it.Also in the photo there are old corduroy [ wood ] road pilings. You can see them in the summer if you walk around the NW side. I have been visiting the Gowganda are since 1968.
love the black and white pic!!
