Finally in turns warmer and down comes the snow close to 18-20 cm. This probably brings the total snow close to 45 cm. Time to get out for a short snowshoe after blowing the snow out of the driveway. Up to the beaver pond on the Bouche cut road and couple of pics of winter (not a mallow as ML points out it is an Evening Primrose, thank you ML) and cattails.

you are absolutely right it is an evening primrose must be all the snow in my head. Bill
Sorry Bill, I did not want to correct you. Honestly, I did not realize, that you wrote of a mallow. It is my fragmentary english that made me ignore the mallow.
