Still working to get the wood split and piled. May take a few more days if the weather doesn't cooperate. This will be firewood for two years from now. Added a couple of filters on this pic to make it a little more interesting.
We have a saying in our family when we work with the wood. I know that our children think it's a silly consolation but we say that it's warms us twice, first when we split and pile and than when we lit it in the stove....
