That is some Christmas tree. I found your blog from a picture of a massive clot of Fireweed. Since I am inordinately fond of Fireweed and since in Alberta we don't seem to have such excessive displays I was smitten. You have some very interesting pictures on this blog that I will savor over the next little while. I hope you take pictures of the snow crusted mittens of the firs and the basic lace on the poplars. It is all embroidery now and lace works.
