LeRoy Lake Rd

Haven't been up this way for a long time, lots of the old trails have disappeared after you cross the creek. The trail that goes north turns east and follows up the west side of Lost Lake. On the way back I found a Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) these were old fashioned garden flowers that are now a common weeds. This one was covered with blooms and about 1 m. high. The leaves when crushed are very aromatic.

A wonderful and glowing photo! The flower felt so big so I didn't understand what it was until I translated the word Tansy. I'm gonna look very close at ours and see if there are any differences. Remember that I used to pick them and dry them years ago and have them as decoration on a cupboard.
