Off to town today

On the way back a couple of fall pictures, crop land has all been plowed for the fall and cattle are roaming fields before the snow and cold.  In the summer the crops go on for kilometers on which was once an ancient seabed. Click on the top picture for a panorama.

Some of the first canola fields that I ever saw were these.

Lot of nice hay grown through there also.

Bill - is there till a dairy in New Liskard? I remember there being a locally owned one, then Parmalat bought it.

Ron, I think it is Thornloe Cheese north of New Liskeard is the one you may have heard of.

Face, The giant cow is the symbol of New Liskeard farming area and is stabled at New Liskeard's and areas tourist info building and the Claybelt museum.
