Farming area around Earlton, Ontario

Went for a trip to Earlton the farming area on the little clay belt.  Earlton is about 70km east of Gowganda as the crow flies.  Miles of crops can be seen grains, corn and canola are the most important.  Some of the crops are just now being harvested.

When I traveled to Gowganda and Matechewan from Ohio I was surprised at how the farmland was that far north and seemed to just pop up out of nowhere.

I enjoy your images and appreciate your vision. I only hope mine approaches your skill.

Backcountry, Thank you, just keep at it.

Anon, There is even a larger farmland further north than this. With new grains and seeds made for shorter growing seasons you don't know how far it will go.
