It's about time were getting some spring weather. Lots of snow but it's finally starting to melt, the lake hasn't changed at all, lots of ice. Out to Hedlund marsh to see if I could find a splash of green starting to grow, after plowing thru wet snow above my boots I did find a little bit but I suspect it was green under the snow too. The creek running south to Gowganda Lake is starting to open up too.

Like that photo with the open creek which tear the white field apart like a drawing line. We also have much snow and last week has ben sunny and perfect for skiing on the crust thanks to chilly nights. But next week will be much warmer so I guess the melting will be starting.
